FAQs: Your Path to Wellness
As R·MEDY is a private health care facility we do not offer extended health billing. We will, however, provide you with invoices from your visits that you may submit on your behalf to your particular insurance company for possible reimbursement under the categories of “wellness coverage”or “alternative therapies.”
The fees charged at R•MEDY are for integrative and functional medicine programs and services that focus on the prevention of illness. These can not be billed under MSP as they are currently not a benefit.
Before a client advances to the physical testing portion of our services we complete extensive verbal questionnaires called MSQ. Once the MSQ portion of the screening is complete the science based portal advises on deficiencies and highlights areas where further examination is recommended. Once the doctor/consultant has reviewed the intake forms, MSQ and any other pertinent information they will present the recommended testing needed to further explore the root cause of any concern.
The tests used by R•MEDY to determine your comprehensive results are sent worldwide for review. As each test delves deeper than those that a family doctor has access to, we are able to provide a much more detailed snapshot of your current total health.
As R•MEDY is a private preventive therapy clinic you do not need a referral to access our services.
Each new client at R•MEDY must first complete a comprehensive intake form. This form is then examined to determine whether the consultation should be geared towards functional medicine, men’s or women’s sexual health, weight management or bioidentical hormone optimization.
As each blood, stool and urine sample are sent internationally the results take time to process. The estimated time for the results and treatment plan to be presented is approximately 6 weeks.

No. Please do not stop taking any medications that you have been prescribed unless recommended by your family doctor. It is important that you indicate all medications (both prescription and over the counter) on your intake forms before you submit to any testing.
At this time we do not offer any payment plans.
As your first visit is a consultation and history examination there is no preparation necessary. Once your personal program is determined you will be provided full instructions regarding preparation for that visit, including any fasting that maybe required prior to testing.
